WYBC/METRO PCS PRIZE WEEK GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Eligibility: Subject to the additional restrictions below, the WYBC/Metro PCS Prize Week Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open to residents of the state of Connecticut. All winners must be at least 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Yale Broadcasting Company d/b/a “WYBC-FM”, Metro PCS Inc. Cox Meida Group Inc and each of their respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. How To Enter: The contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday October, 15th, 2012 and end at 11:59 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Thursday March 28, 2013 (the “Contest Period”). No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions permitted. Only one (1) entry per person. Enter by going to 943 WYBC.com anytime Monday through Sunday during the contest period. When you get to the 943WYBC.com website, find contest page for the “WYBC/Metro PCS Prize Giveaway contest. Then entrants must fill out all the fields requested and pick a pair of tickets they would like to win on webpage. Subject to compliance with the eligibility and other requirements of these Official Rules one of the entrants from website that correctly fill out the entry form will be declared eligible to win a prize. You may enter the contest only one time and only (1) prize will be awarded. Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or sponsors. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by sponsors in its sole discretion, and sponsors reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the contest. All entries become property of sponsors and none will be returned. Listeners accessing our station audio via IP (eye-pee) connections like website-based streaming or mobile devices are welcome to enter. However, 94.3 WYBC FM cannot be responsible for delays in electronic transmission of station audio to IP devices. By entering this contest, listeners acknowledge their understanding and agreement to this specific provision of the contest rules Winner Selection: During the contest period between Monday October 15th , 2012 and Friday March 29, 2013 a total of twenty four (24) winners of a WYBC prize pack will be randomly selected from all of the correct entries received from the WYBC website. Prize and Odds: Each winner will receive one (1) WYBC prize pack which consists of various items like concert tickets , tee shirts, CD’s movie passes or other items (Actual retail value (“ARV”) $20.00 Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received from the 943 WYBC website. Winner Notification and Acceptance: Winners will be notified each week by telephone, email and/or U.S. Mail on or about Friday October 19th 2012 and Monday January 4th 2013. Note: If winners are notified by U.S. mail or by e-mail, return of prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of a substitute winner. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non- assignable and non- transferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize are subject to availability and sponsors reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) business days of the date of the sender’s postmark. Failure to timely sign and return the affidavit or release, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner’s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Persons traveling as guest of the winner may also need to sign an affidavit or release that sponsors may require. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation to the Internet, or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of sponsors. Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of sponsors, which shall be final in all respects. Sponsors reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest as solely determined by sponsors. In the event the contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of sponsors which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest, sponsors reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, sponsors reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. Construction: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
